The Web Services Project

This project will bring together campus leadership, content managers, end users, and service providers to define the service offerings that support our campus web presence. More than just servers and applications, services include setting expectations, defining roles and responsibilities and supporting standards. Major objectives include:

  • Public facing campus web service definitions
  • Clear access to local web services
  • Documented life cycle for campus design templates
  • Roles and responsibilities for faculty, staff and students who support official websites
  • Metrics for measuring success of web services

To review web services currently offered to the campus, please see the ITS Service Catalog

A note about the photos on these pages:
The Chancellor's Office and acting Arts Dean Margaret Morse sponsored an on-campus photography contest, open to all students, staff, and faculty. The images on our site garnered critical acclaim in the 2007 contest. The photograph "Old Oak" by Brooke Crowley, a graduate student, won the 2007 contest.
