This project will bring together campus leadership, content managers, end users, and service providers to define the service offerings that support our campus web presence. More than just servers and applications, services include setting expectations, defining roles and responsibilities and supporting standards. Major objectives include:

Margaret Morse sponsored an on-campus photography contest, open to all students, staff, and faculty. The images on our site garnered critical acclaim in the 2007 contest. The photograph "Old Oak" by Brooke Crowley, a graduate student, won the 2007 contest. For more information, see the following news article.
The team completed review and integration of all four draft service pages, created draft of Web Services Team membership and definition and completed draft list of service catalog topic pages and assigned content to team members.
The service definition team has completed the service definition for the Web Publishing service as well as the inventory of the divisional web services.
The service definition team has completed the initial round of service definition for the Web Hosting service and the Training and Resources Service.
The service definition team has identified four basic web services, and created mock-up service catalog pages to begin the detailed service definition process.
The Web Services Project team began official project meetings in February. Under the leadership of Jim Burns, Director of PIO, and Janine Roeth, Director of Client Service and Security, this project will identify and define web services available to the campus.
